Welcome to the privacy policy of ResetKit. This policy will help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are in relation to it.
Goalchime Ltd

United KingdomOwner contact email: privacy@goalchime.com
Your privacy is our primary concern. This Application is designed so that your core usage data—including the habits you track, your progress, and your daily logs—is stored entirely locally on your device.
We do not transmit, collect, or store your habit data on our servers. If you have iCloud backups enabled on your Apple device, your data will be securely backed up to your personal Apple iCloud account, which is governed by Apple's security and privacy policies. We have no access to your iCloud data.
(Note: Reminders to complete your habits are processed locally on your device using Local Notifications. No notification data is sent to or triggered by our servers.)
Because your core habit data is stored locally, the data this Application actively collects is limited strictly to analytics, crash reporting, and customer support. Among the types of Data that this Application collects, by itself or through third parties, there are:
No Third-Party Tracking: We do not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, and we do not sell your data to third parties.
We do not collect or process any health, medical, or fitness data from Apple's HealthKit or any other health-related sensors.
Complete details on each type of Data collected are provided in the dedicated sections of this privacy policy. All analytics data is tied to a device-level identifier (UUID), as this Application does not use user accounts. Users who are uncertain about which Data is mandatory are welcome to contact the Owner.
Our Service is intended for a general audience. Because the Application does not use user accounts and stores habit data locally, we do not have the ability to identify the age of our users.
However, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain EU jurisdictions). If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child has provided us with personal information (such as via a support email), please contact us so we can delete such information from our systems immediately.
The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorised destruction of the Data. Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT-enabled tools, following organisational procedures strictly related to the purposes indicated.
The Data is processed at the Owner's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located (such as our analytics providers in the United States and Germany).
Where we share data with third parties, we ensure that they provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this privacy policy and required by the Apple App Store Review Guidelines. When Personal Data is transferred to service providers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such as to the United States, we ensure it is protected by appropriate legal safeguards, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose it has been collected for. Specifically:
The Data concerning the User is collected to allow the Owner to provide its Service, comply with legal obligations, detect malicious or fraudulent activity, and for the following purposes:
The services contained in this section enable the Owner to monitor and analyse app usage to improve the Service. Note: IP addresses processed by our analytics providers are anonymized/masked to protect your privacy.
We do not use these identifiers to track Users across third-party apps or websites for advertising purposes (as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency).

Depending on your location, you have certain rights regarding the data we hold about you. To the extent permitted by law, you have the right to:
How to Exercise Your Deletion Rights:
Because this Application does not use user accounts, your analytics profile is tied to a randomly generated Analytics ID created by your device. We cannot identify you by name or email through this ID.
To request the deletion of your analytics data, you must provide your Analytics ID. You can find this in the 'Data Management' section of the Settings screen under the 'Analytics Data' header.
⚠️ Important Note: If you contact us without providing this Analytics ID, we cannot locate or delete your data from our analytics dashboards. Furthermore, if you delete the Application or use the "Delete All App Data" function without first noting this ID, the ID becomes irretrievable, making the deletion of remote analytics data impossible.
Any requests to exercise User rights are free of charge and will be addressed by the Owner within one month.
The Owner may process Data relating to Users if one of the following applies:
Users in the EU have the right to lodge a complaint before their competent data protection authority, in addition to the rights to access, modify, and delete data as outlined in Section 8 above.
This section applies to residents of California and other US states with applicable privacy laws (such as the CCPA).
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. As outlined in Section 8, you have the right to request access to and deletion of the analytics data associated with your device's UUID without facing discrimination.
For operation and maintenance purposes, this Application and any third-party services may collect files that record interaction with this Application (System logs) or use other Data for this purpose.
If ResetKit is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your anonymous analytics data may be transferred as part of that transaction. Please note that because your core habit data is stored locally on your device, it remains solely in your possession and cannot be transferred to an acquiring company by us. We will provide notice on our website or within this Application before any analytics data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
The Owner reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by notifying its Users on this page and possibly within this Application. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the top.
